STEVE FRYE, President

Mr. Frye has nearly 40 years of law enforcement and security experience, 20 years of that being with the Los Angeles Police Department. He served in many capacities with the LAPD, including two years on the personal staff of Chief Ed Davis, retiring as a Sergeant II, Assistant Watch Commander. Mr. Frye also has extensive experience and training in the investigative field.

Mr. Frye earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Management from Pepperdine University School of Business. He has also completed graduate courses in Public Communications at Pepperdine University , as well as graduate courses in Public Administration at UCLA.

The President is the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for general administration of all company affairs.

MELVIN STAPLES, CPP, Vice President

Mr. Staples has an extensive background in security management and over 20 years in contract security operations. Prior to the formation of Pacific Protection Services, Inc., he was Operations Manager for Special Enforcement Systems, a Los Angeles-based contract security company specializing in entertainment security services.

Mr. Staples is a graduate of Western Illinois University and has completed MBA graduate courses at the University of Phoenix School of Business. He has been designated a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by the Professional Certification Board of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).

The Vice President is the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations, and is responsible for the general operation of security services as well as business development.
